The Credentials that Set Our Team Members Apart
At TrinityPoint Wealth, we set the bar high for quality and excellence, and many of our firm’s team members have met rigorous credentialing and educational requirements to earn six key designations that distinguish us in our industry. They are:

-
Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®): Not all financial planners are certified. This designation is only awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. to individuals who meet its stringent education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements. CFP Disclosures: CFP Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct

-
Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®): Administered through the Investments & Wealth Institute (Formerly IMCA) to individuals who meet its experience, ethical, education, and examination requirements, it is the only credential of its kind designed specifically for financial professionals seeking competency as an advanced investment consultant. CIMA® designees are further required to adhere to the Investments & Wealth Institute’s Code of Professional Responsibility and Standards of Practice on an ongoing basis.

-
Certified 401(k) Professional (C(k)P®): Identifies financial professionals who have been authorized to use this designation in the USA, and who have the knowledge and experience to favorably affect the outcome of corporate retirement plans. It is administered by The Retirement Advisor University in collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education.

-
Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®): Is a professional certification specifically designed for financial advisors who work with high-net-worth clients on their wealth management needs. To earn the CPWA® designation, financial advisors must typically meet specific educational and experience requirements, pass a rigorous examination, and adhere to a code of ethics. The CPWA® certification is awarded by the Investments & Wealth Institute.

-
Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®): Awarded by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts to individuals who have met stringent professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility. CDFA® professionals are skilled at analyzing data and providing expertise on the financial issues of divorce—assisting both client and attorney in understanding how the decisions the client makes today will impact his or her financial future.

-
Registered Life Planner® (RLP®): Provides financial guidance, support, and advice that has the potential to change lives — focusing on helping clients discover their most essential goals, and then aligning those goals with their finances. Recipients must complete a two-day Seven Stages of Money Maturity workshop and five days of Life Planning Advanced Training, followed by a six-month mentorship and case study program.

-
Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMS®): Awarded by the College for Financial Planning® to individuals who complete the 12-module AAMS® Professional Education Program and successfully pass an examination addressing a range of investment-related matters.
